Sega Superstars Tennis

Coming next year, in March (according to Gamestop) Sega will release a game titled Sega Superstars Tennis for the Wii, PS2, PS3, and 360. The game will pit famous Sega characters like Sonic, NiGHTS, AiAi, Amigo, and others against each other in matches that take place on Sega inspired courts like Green Hill Zone or a Jet Grind Radio inspired stage. Characters come equipped with special moves, and there will be minigames abound to play.

Knowing this, do you think it's Sega's attempt to cash in on the success of the Mario Tennis games, or do you think Sega is trying to set itself apart from Mario to make a truly unique tennis title?

I think its awesome, to be able to play as your favorite SEGA characters one last time. I think they will make it a lot different the Mario tennis, but if it wasn't or the success of Mario Tennis, I doubt this would be coming out.
